GRAPHIC DESIGNER (Part-Time, Fully Remote)
Superette Studio is looking for a part-time, fully remote graphic designer to join our fun, creative, friendly team! Our interdisciplinary firm works across branding and interior design, with a focus on the hospitality industry. Join Haley & Sonja (principals & co-owners) in developing fresh, exciting branding & collateral for a variety of clients. Must be a self-starter, eager to learn our process but confident enough to bring your own perspective to it, and comfortable working independently in a laid-back, collaborative remote environment. This is a part-time contract position with the opportunity to become full time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Client & Project Work
- – Act as main contact and graphic designer on several projects at once, completing design requests as they come in — from production design on existing brands to full branding efforts for new or existing companies (logo design, brand guidelines, environmental & signage design, packaging, presentations, print materials, advertising & product design).
- – Communicate comfortably with clients, printers, vendors, manufacturers and other designers; source product and procure estimates/quotes as needed.
Marketing Support
- -Assist with marketing efforts such as social media, website updates, and brochure creation.
- -Produce studio email client newsletters.
Collaboration
- -Be nimble and able to move between projects within any given day.
- -Collaborate with Haley (principal) on large projects, while being a strong self-starter on smaller ones.
- -Pitch in on tasks outside your core title when needed — from product design support to organizing the material library.
ABOUT YOU
- -3+ years of experience in graphic design.
- -Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, plus Canva and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word). Sketch, After Effects, and HTML knowledge a plus.
- -Illustration skills a plus (drawing, painting, Procreate).
- -Interest in interior design a plus.
- -Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- -Collaborative, communicative, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
SCHEDULE 20 hours/week, fully remote. Flexible daytime hours with some overlap for team check-ins and client calls.
COMPENSATION $28–35/hour, depending on experience.
